On A Roll!

Enough with the pictures, time for real words! Most people have seen Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love by now, and for the most part, it's a wonderful film. But what really stands out to me, are the numerous quotes she has written, that may or may not have appeared in the film.

One of my favourite quotes from the film is from Giovanni, Gilbert's Italian teacher who falls in love with her friend. On Thanksgiving Day he says:

"I am thankful for fear, because for the first time in my life, I am fearful that the person sitting next to me may be the one who wants to leave."

Though at times I find myself hating that I have to feel this way, fear for me, is an indicator. Like Giovanni, it's the first time I have felt it in a relationship and it lets me know that, this time, I love the person as much as they love me.
