Who knew the man behind Thousand Island Dressing and the Waldorf Astoria was such a romantic? Boldt Castle on Heart Island was built as a present to his wife for her 42nd birthday on Valentine's day. Unfortunately, she died before it was completed; he was so heart broken he never set foot on the island again and had all construction stopped. Romantic Tragedy but at least it proves that love exists, even in the lives of rich rich men. Who says you can't have money and love?
